ITC Approved Trainers

An individual who wishes to deliver ITC qualification is termed an ITC Provider.  An organisation such as a further Education College who wishes to deliver ITC qualifications is termed an ITC Centre.  The menu on the left allows you to:
  • understand the ITC pathway to Provider accreditation
  • browse approved Provider Induction events by date or region
  • find answers to frequently asked questions

If you wish to deliver ITC First Aid training and qualifications the first step is to become and approved ITC Provider.

We have a regular programme of 2-day Induction events to begin the accreditation process. The Induction event introduces organisational procedures, documents and teaching & assessment methods of ITC using the EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) course as a vehicle to illustrate ITC methodology.  This begins the process to become accredited to deliver EFAW.  Once accredited to deliver EFAW Providers may also follow the accreditation path to

  • deliver HSE qualifications for the workplace e.g. First Aid at Work
  • deliver OfQual accredited qualifications e.g. Outdoor First Aid, Sports First Aid
  • deliver tailored qualification e.g. Motorcyclist First Aid, Expedition First Aid
  • business opportunity

If you represent a large organisation or educational establishment you may wish your organisation to be approved as an ITC Centre.
