The first step to becoming an Independent ITC Provider of first aid qualifications is to attend a 2-day Induction course.  These events are held about every few weeks somewhere in the UK.  To book a place upon one of these follow the links after clicking 'Overview & Calandar' above.  This necessary first step has to be completed by those who wish to deliver ITC HSE accredited qualifications.

For groups at their own venues, for instance, a current training organisation with a number of staff, or a college department wishing to deliver a course such as Outdoor First Aid, then an Induction event can be delivered at your venue at dates to suit you.  This is a cost effective option for groups who wish their staff to become ITC Providers.

Regional Providers across the UK are approved to deliver the 2-day ITC Induction event.

If you only wish to deliver specialist courses such as the Outdoor First Aid programme or Paediatric programme then we assign a mentor who will take you through the necessary steps to become accredited to deliver that programme.  They will design a personal programme just for you.  You are not required to attend a 2-day induction course for this route but will pay the Induction fee to the mentor.  You must contact ITC directly with a letter of application (LA1) for this option.

For those wishing to deliver any qualification in the adult or further education sector then the minimum threshold teaching qualification for trainers is the PTLLS (Preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector).  PTLLS specification.
