centre

Two Step Process

1. Complete application form
2. Centre procedures and delivery are externally verified

We have an established Centre support scheme for those educational establishments or relatively large businesses that wish to deliver ITC first aid training as part of their provision.

Detailed Steps to ITC Centre Accreditiation

  • The first step is to contact the ITC Office to discuss suitability.
  • Download documents from policy/procedure link at bottom of this page.
  • Review Centre systems to meet regulatory requirements, consider using a current ITC Provider to illustrate methods and procedures.
  • Centre staff verifiably demonstrate the skills to teach. assess, use correct documentation and ITC web-office.
  • Centres have to verifiably demonstrate the internal processes in place to keep staff training and Centre procedures up to date by providing documentary evidence.
  • A successful external verification report is the final stage to becoming an ITC Centre.

Thus Centres have the support systems and resources in place to deliver staff training, standardisation and internal verification procedures.

Advantages to being an ITC Centre

  • You train and standardise your staff
  • Centre status stays with the establishment.  If staff move on, then provided you keep the replacement staff fully trained there is no interruption to provision.
  • Credibility and status derived from delivering qualifications found upon national qualification registers

Centres can be approved to deliver Ofqual accredited qualifications
