ITC First Aid

Become an ITC Approved Training Centre

centre

We have an established centre support scheme for those educational establishments or relatively large businesses that wish to deliver ITC first aid training as part of their provision.

Steps to ITC Centre Accreditiation

  • The first step is to contact the ITC Office to discuss suitability.
  • Download documents from policy/procedure link at bottom of this page.
  • All ITC  Centres are required to have an ITC Provider to develop and approve their procedures and standards before the Centre is subject to an external verification visit to demonstrate their status.
  • The Provider helps Centre staff verifiably demonstrate the skills to teach. assess, use correct documentation and web-office.
  • Centres have to verifiably demonstrate the internal processes in place to keep staff training and Centre procedures up to date.
  • A successful external verification report is the final stage to becoming an ITC Centre.

Thus Centres have the support systems and resources in place to deliver staff training, standardisation and internal verification procedures.

Advantages to being an ITC Centre

  • You train your own staff.  No requirement to send them upon an induction course.
  • Centre status stays with the establishment.  If staff move on, then provided you keep the replacement staff fully trained their is no interruption to provision.
  • Benefit from the free advertising and support ITC provides for all those accredited to deliver ITC qualifications.
